No Therapist-Client Relationship

Submitting a request for services, contacting our office, or using this Site does not establish a therapist-client or professional relationship and does not guarantee therapist availability. A therapist-client relationship is formed only through direct communication and a mutual agreement with a provider.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

Counseling may help individuals work toward their goals, but Universal Counseling makes no guarantee of specific treatment outcomes. Each person's experience and results are individualized and depend on many factors.

Professional Licensing

Universal Counseling's providers are licensed by the State of New Mexico. Information about each provider's credentials is available on the Our Therapists page. License status may be verified through the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department, Counseling and Therapy Practice Board. Telehealth services are provided in accordance with New Mexico telehealth requirements.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing an emergency or believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on this Site or its forms for emergency communications. For the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line, call 1-855-NMCRISIS (1-855-662-7473). Intellectual Property

The content, design, logos, and materials on this Site are owned by or licensed to Universal Counseling, LLC and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Universal Counseling, LLC is not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this Site or from reliance on information provided here. Your use of this Site is at your own risk.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this Site shall be resolved in the courts located in Sandoval County, New Mexico, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts to the extent permitted by law.
