​​Universal Counseling LLC is a privately-owned, for profit mental health counseling agency. We operate in a professional, relaxed environment. We generally serve clientele referred by insurance companies, including Medicaid, physicians/facilities, and EAP. We are seeking experienced therapists to join us in providing quality mental health services to our community. Applicants must be passionate about providing the highest level of care to our clients and dedicated to continuous professionalism development and learning.

We are looking for therapists who would like to work as independent contractors, which offers flexibility in your schedule. The requirement for joining Universal Counseling is a commitment of a minimum of fifteen client contact hours per week. Hours available are daytime (9:00 to 5:00), evenings (6:00 to 9:00) and weekends. The hourly rate of pay is percentage-based, dependent on level of licensure and experience.
Requirements
• Minimum Master's Degree in the behavioral health field
• Professional liability insurance
• Active New Mexico State license as a mental health counselor, social worker, or psychologist
